Privacy Policy

Template: replace “the Operator” with your company's legal name and have a lawyer review this page before launch.

Last updated: October 13, 2026.

This policy explains what Saywick (the “Service”), operated by the Operator, collects, why, who helps us process it and the choices you have. It covers people who use the dashboard and, where noted, visitors to websites hosted on the Service.

1. What we collect

  • Account details: your email address, name and sign-in records. If you sign in with Google we receive your name and email address from Google.
  • Organization content: sites, pages, posts, designs, media, client names, brand notes and settings you or your team create.
  • Client approvals: the email address you send a post to, and the client's answer and comments.
  • Form submissions: what visitors type into forms on sites hosted here.
  • Domain registrations: the registrant contact you give at checkout, which we pass to the registrar and don't keep after registration.
  • Usage and security records: AI usage per site, an audit log of changes, and technical logs (such as IP address and browser) used to keep the Service secure.
  • Billing: handled by Stripe. We see your plan and payment status, not your full card number.

2. How we use it

To run the Service: host and publish your sites, send sign-in, approval and notification emails, generate content when you ask the AI features to, process payments and domain registrations, prevent abuse and fix problems. We don't sell personal information and we don't use your content to train AI models.

3. Visitors to sites hosted on the Service

For websites our customers publish here, the customer decides what to collect and is responsible for their own privacy notice; we process that data on their behalf. Hosted sites don't set cookies or run scripts, except analytics (Plausible or Google Analytics) when the site owner turns it on.

4. Who helps us

We share data only with the services that run parts of the Service:

  • Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage (United States)
  • Netlify: hosting for the dashboard and websites
  • Anthropic: AI writing and design, when you use those features
  • Stripe: payments and invoices
  • Resend: email delivery
  • Name.com: domain registration
  • GitHub: encrypted nightly backups, kept for 30 days
  • Sentry: error reports
  • Google: sign-in, if you choose it
  • Buffer: only when you connect it
  • Pixabay, Pexels and Unsplash: your stock photo search words, nothing about you

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your organization exists. When an owner deletes an organization, its data is deleted from the live system right away and disappears from backups within 30 days. Post revisions are limited to the latest 50 per post.

6. Your choices

  • Owners and admins can export all of an organization's data at any time.
  • You can correct your details in the dashboard, or delete your organization.
  • You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information about you by writing to the address below. If you're a visitor to a customer's site, contact that site's owner first.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited by role, backups are encrypted, and hosted sites are read-only. No system is perfectly secure; we'll tell affected customers promptly if a breach affects their data.

8. Contact and changes

Questions: hello@saywick.com. We'll post changes here and email owners about significant ones. See also the Terms of Service.
