Terms of Service

Template: replace “the Operator” with your company's legal name and have a lawyer review this page before launch.

Last updated: October 7, 2026.

These terms govern your use of Saywick (the “Service”), operated by the Operator. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent.

1. Accounts and organizations

You must give accurate information and keep your login secure. Organization owners are responsible for the people they invite and for everything done in their organization, including through API keys.

2. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you and your clients publish. You give the Operator the permissions needed to host, display, back up and deliver it. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload or publish, including content you generate with AI features.

3. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. The Operator may suspend sites or accounts that break it, normally after notice unless the harm is urgent.

4. AI features

AI output can be wrong. Review it before publishing. Usage is limited by your plan's AI budget and any AI credit you hold. Credit has no cash value, can't be transferred, and expires as stated when it's granted; when it's used up, AI features pause until you upgrade or it renews.

5. Plans, billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. Downgrading never deletes content, but features above the new plan's limits stop accepting new items. You can cancel any time; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.

6. Domains

Domains bought through the Service are registered with our registrar partner (currently Name.com) in the name of the owner you give at checkout, who is the domain's legal registrant and must keep those details accurate. The registrar's registration agreement and ICANN's registrant benefits and responsibilities also apply.

  • Payment and renewal. The first year is paid at checkout. Domains renew yearly at the price shown in your dashboard, charged about 30 days before they expire. A domain included with a paid plan renews at no charge while the organization stays on a paid plan; after a downgrade or cancellation it renews at the normal price.
  • No refunds. Registrations and renewals can't be refunded once completed. If a registration fails, the payment is refunded in full.
  • Expiry. If a renewal isn't paid, the domain expires and stops working, and it may become available to others.
  • Your domain, your choice. You may transfer a domain to another registrar at any time after the registry's 60-day lock on new registrations. Owners get the transfer code in the dashboard.
  • DNS. The Service manages the records that point the domain at your site; you can add your own (for example, for email) in the dashboard.

7. Your data

Owners and admins can export their organization's data at any time from Settings, and owners can delete the organization, which removes its sites, content and files.

8. Availability and changes

The Service is provided “as is”. The Operator works to keep it available and backed up but doesn't guarantee uninterrupted service. These terms may change; material changes will be announced in advance.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, the Operator's liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and excludes indirect or consequential losses.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms: contact the Operator. To report abuse, use the report form.
